ATA Webinars: Education When and Where You Want It!
As awareness and the prevalence of thyroid disease and its related disorders grows so also arises the need for education of health care professionals and the general public. The American Thyroid Association remains at the forefront of CME certified thyroid education. We invite you to join us for our new series of webinars beginning in the Spring of 2011.

Clinical Thyroidology for Patients
Up- to-date information to help you understand thyroid disease through the latest research.

IN THE JANUARY ISSUE, STUDIES ASK THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

  • How effective is recombinant human TSH in treating thyroid cancer with RAI?
  • Does pregnancy have an effect on thyroid cancer recurrence?
  • Can we predict thyroid cancer recurrence after RAI treatment?
  • What are the reasons patients lose weight after treatment of hypothyroidism?

We welcome your feedback and suggestions. Let us know what you want to see in this publication. I hope you find these summaries interesting and informative.
