CME Jointly SponsoredFELLOWS

The American Thyroid Association (ATA) invites Fellows to attend the 82nd Annual Meeting of the ATA taking place September 19-23,2012 at the Hilton Québec & QC Convention Center in Quebec City, Canada. The ATA offers educational programs for all clinical and basic fellows. Grant opportunities which have some distinctions are available to fellows as well. Please review the requirements and steps below to determine eligibility and apply for grant funding.

The ATA Fellows' Educational Track is comprised of special sessions each day of the ATA meeting specifically designed to enhance the "Fellow experience" at the ATA Annual Meeting. These sessions run concurrently with the Annual Meeting program sessions. Leaders in the field present on such topics as thyroid career tracks, how to set up a thyroid practice and how to get published. The ATA Fellows' Educational Track is open to all registered Annual Meeting fellows and the benefits include complimentary buffet lunch (Thursday through Saturday of the meeting), continental breakfasts before the early riser sessions and discounted tickets to the ATA Annual Banquet. Funding assistance, however, is limited to fellows accepted in the Clinical or Basic Fellows' Grant Programs.

THE ATA FELLOWS' GRANT PROGRAM is a space-limited opportunity. Clinical and basic fellows meeting the eligibility requirements are accepted until the program reaches capacity. Benefits of the Fellows' Grant Program include free meeting registration and complimentary shared sleeping room accommodations for up to four nights.
